If one of your PlayCubes has no light at all, it usually means that cube is asleep, out of battery, or not powered on, so it can’t connect to the other cubes.
What you see
One cube is completely dark
No lights, no animations
The other cubes may be working normally
Meaning
That cube is not active right now.
This can happen if:
The battery is discharged
The cube went to sleep after being inactive
The cube didn’t turn on correctly
Good news: this is usually very easy to fix.
Before you start
Please check these quick things first:
Place all cubes close together
Plug the CarryBox into power
Wait a minute to allow charging to start
Step-by-step fix
Solution 1: Try turning the cube ON
Pick up the unlit cube
Press and hold the back button (the button opposite the face) for about 5 seconds
Watch for lights or animation to appear
If the cube turns on, place it back with the others.
Solution 2: Let it charge
If nothing happens:
Place the cube inside the CarryBox
Make sure the CarryBox is plugged into power
Charge your cubes, it takes average around 3 hours to restore power
Try pressing the center button again
Tip: If the battery was very low, it may take a few hours before the cube shows any light.
Solution 3: Do a normal reset
If the cube still remains inactive:
Press the small reset button on the bottom using a pen tip
Wait for the cube to reboot
Watch for lights or sound
Still no light after charging + reset?
Try:
A different power adapter
A different outlet
Making sure the cube is seated correctly in the CarryBox (you have to heat the "click" sound)
Solution 4: Consider a Factory Reset
⚠️ Factory Reset will erase games/progress/files.
Use this if:
You’re also seeing other strange symptoms (glitches, corrupted visuals, persistent odd behavior)
