Downloads or Updates Keep Failing

If games won’t download or updates cannot complete downloading, the most common cause is weak network signal or connection interruption.

 

What you see

  • Red dots on your cube
  • Downloads stop halfway
  • Updates fail repeatedly
  • Games don’t install

 

Meaning

The cubes are connected, but the connection is not stable enough to complete the process.

Common causes:

  • Weak Wi-Fi signal
  • Network interruptions
  • Router restrictions

 

Before you start

Make sure:

  • Cubes are close to the router
  • CarryBox is plugged in
  • Internet is working normally (you can search "speed tests" to see this)

 

Step-by-step fix


Solution 1: Rebooting 

1. Restart your router

  1. Unplug the router
  2. Wait 20 seconds
  3. Plug it back in
  4. Wait for internet to return
  5. Try downloading again

2. Try downloading near the router

Move the cubes to the same room as the router and retry.

 

Solution 2: Try a phone hotspot

  1. Turn on hotspot
  2. Connect cubes to it
  3. Try downloading again

If this works, your home network is likely the cause.


Solution 3: System update

  1. Open the Tokidos app
  2. Go to PlayRoom
  3. Select your cube
  4. Tap “Updates”
  5. Follow instructions


Solution 4: If it still fails: consider a Factory Reset

⚠️ Factory Reset will erase games/progress/files.

Use this if:

  • You’re also seeing other strange symptoms (glitches, corrupted visuals, persistent odd behavior)
  • Normal resets don’t help
