If your PlayCube screen shows random colored dots, scrambled visuals, or frozen graphics, it usually means there was a temporary error. This error is typically a display or memory glitch.
What you see

Meaning
The cube likely had a small system glitch, like many electronics.
This can happen if:
A game crashed
A download was interrupted
A system process frozen
Before you start
Make sure:
The cube has battery
The CarryBox is plugged in
Step-by-step fix
Solution 1: Normal reset (most common fix)
Press the small reset button on the bottom using a pen tip
Wait for the cube to reboot
Let it fully restart
This solves most visual glitches.
Solution 2: Update your PlayCubes
Glitches can happen if the software is outdated.
Open the Tokidos Parental App
Go to PlayRoom
Select your PlayCube set
Check if you see an “Update” button
If yes, tap it and follow instructions
Solution 3: Reinstall the game (if the issue happens inside one game)
Open the app
Go to PlayRoom
Select the PlayCube
Select the game
Tap “Uninstall game”
Wait for the uninstall process and confirmation
Locate the card and reinsert in the mouth cube
Allow game to download again
Note- issues may occur with a particular game, a bug may have been discovered with that particular game. If it continues with this game only, send an email to our support with a photo/video of the error animation and we'll be more than happy to help you!
Solution 4: If it still fails: consider a Factory Reset
⚠️ Factory Reset will erase games/progress/files.
