The app cannot find my playcubes

If the Tokidos app can’t detect your PlayCubes, it usually means they are not in the correct connection state.

What you see

  • App says it can’t find cubes
  • Connection step doesn’t move forward

 

Meaning

The Tokidos app can only detect PlayCubes when they are in one of two status.

“Looking for Wi-Fi” or “Wi-Fi is not connected” status.

To enter these modes they must be on the case, with the charger ON, and with all cubes ON.

 If they are in another state, the app will not see them.

 

Before you start

Make sure:

  • Bluetooth is ON on your phone
  • Your MouthCube shows the Wi-Fi animation
  • You are close to the cubes

 

 

Step-by-step fix

 

1- Put cubes into Wi-Fi setup mode

  1. Turn on the cubes
  2. Press the center button for about 5 seconds
  3. Wait for the Wi-Fi animation
  4. Listen for instructions

2- Try connecting again

  1. Open the Tokidos app
  2. Tap “Connect PlayCubes”
  3. Wait for detection

 

If not solved, consider a Factory Reset

⚠️ Factory Reset will erase games/progress/files.

Use this if:

  • You’re also seeing other strange symptoms (glitches, corrupted visuals, persistent odd behavior)
  • Normal resets don’t help
