I love that we can play this together as a family. Took it out during a picnic and even the grandparents joined in!

Perfect for summer downtime. My 5-year-old plays while I prep dinner on the patio. Had a small issue at first, but customer service solved it in minutes. So rare these days!

Let customers speak for us
from 224 reviews"Goldilocks and the Three Bears" came with our subscription, and we've really been enjoying it. I love that this includes a really soothing narrative as the framework for the game. The British woman who narrates these has a really nice voice for bedtime, and I hope they continue to employ her -- she also voices the Math Alchemist game.
Since it is one single story, I was surprised that my child has gone back to this game several times since we've gotten it. What I like about it is that it contains many different skill building games: (1) ordering clothes; (2) knock on the door; (4) long press on the cube to open the door; (5) putting together a maze that ends in the kitchen (6) matching chairs; (7) ordering porridge by size and selecting Goldilock's favorite -- although I am not sure why there seem to be four options there (8) ordering beds by size (9) remembering the order of the narrative (10) constructing a chair. In other words, the games help to review the idea of order, in terms of size, shape, spatial reasoning, and sequence, but in different means/styles to help keep the child's attention.
We've also talked about the story in other contexts to convey the idea of "moderation" -- not too much or not too little -- in terms of eating sweets, etc. It helps that we have also already heard about the "Goldilocks principle," which also applies to the idea of inhabitable planets.
In this story, G also is fearful of the bears, who turn out to be very patient and kind. Recently, my child has also repeated what Papa Bear says, "Accidents happen, but we can fix them," when we knock something over, etc., and I think that it is helping his socio-emotional management in that regard. We also talk about being guests and being hosts -- like G, we need to ask before we go over to someone's house. Like the bears, we should welcome people to feel comfortable in our home. Our child is 4 and a half and really enjoys playdates and wants friends, but needs some pointers sometimes.
The fact that this is a narrative with a conclusion, and is also a soothing narrative, helps it to be a good "last game before bed," since there is no disputing when it is over.
I am not sure I would have bought this card without the subscription, since it's just one story and I thought my child would tire of it quickly, but it is a huge win for me. My experience is that Tokidos is usually 15-30 minutes of very concentrated attention, but he's gone back to it across multiple days. My family sort of rolls my eyes when they see me purchase another screen-free toy, but with more exposure to Tokidos, my husband has come around to seeing how really helpful this system is, with the ability to grow with our child. I'm taking the time to write this because I hope Tokidos stays in business and continues to create/support the games.
Also, if Tokidos is listening -- please let us know if our subscriptions will carry over to a second year, and what some of those cards might be; I've bought some additional cards at the younger age point (totally worth it!), and would like to know if it would be good to buy some of the newer cards or if I could wait for next year.

Shipping was fast, and the customer service is insanely good. Would put a 6th star if I could.

I wasn't sure about this, since it seemed a little too elementary for my 4 YO who has a special interest in math. He loved the Peter Rabbit game at first, but now asks for it to include multiplication and seems a bit bored with it. I got "math alchemist" anyway on the recommendation of Tokidos and am SO GLAD I did. This isn't just a math game; it's a really soothing dungeons and dragons game for littles. Mine doesn't like music, but this music is soft and comforting and the voice is so lovely. The names of the ingredients are really special and he often repeats them, smiling. The only negative is that he gets to 15 quickly, and then it seems that 10+5 is the equation that's repeated -- for a game like this, I think it would be better if they scaled down again since more variety would keep him interested, and it's not the math per se that is his favorite thing about the card. He's been playing with it more as a make-pretend game that is appropriate for an older set, so even if your child has mastered basic counting, it's still a fun game to play, especially at bedtime, as a way to wind down but give in to playing one more game before going to bed. The soothing voice and music are also a bonus for bedtime.

My 4 YO has a speech delay and, while he can write all of his letters, has trouble making sounds like “f.” This is the game he has the hardest time with and therefore the one he gravitates to the most. He does have trouble transitioning from one sound to pairing two sounds but otherwise really loves it. If you are wavering at all, get this card! We love it so much and it’s nice that he can pick up a game from where he left off.

The image and the sound are so much fun! we laugh so much with my whole family!

This was so fun for my son and I. It’s easy to see where you’re shooting, where you’ve hit water, etc.

This is a great tool for having fun and learning. Getting kids away from tablets. They love playing with the cubes and when friend come over to play with them as well.

Absolutely amazing product and company.
I will be recommending these to everyone. I am using them as a therapy tool for my non-verbal child with autism. I can't wait for him to grow with this product.
As someone who works with kids with learning difficulties, I can see how helpful these cubes could be. It makes learning fun and takes the pressure off. To them, it would just be like playing games.
Keep up the great work and I can't wait to see where these cubes go.

My kids who are 3 and 5 absolutely love the cubes. Add to it the amazing customers service. Had an issue with a cube and it was replaced quickly. If you are considering getting these for your kids, go ahead and do it. You and your kids will love them!

My 5 year old loves this system and always asks to play with it. The age assigned games are so engaging and we love how everyone can also join to play. The company is also very easy to work with for any issues. I can't wait to get more games and continue supporting this company.

We bought our kids Tokidos for Christmas and we have loved them! Customer service is great too!

I got the cubes for my daughters 5th birthday but we really enjoy an option to play together as a family! She loves getting to share her cubes with everyone and we all enjoy this game.

This one is sooooo cute! It is my daughter’s absolute favorite! I thought it might be hard for her but not at all!! She loves shaking the ingredients into the. I am impressed each time with her ability to add!
