Alchimiste des Maths

While this is aimed for little the narrative basis of the game gives a real impetus for kids to keep playing this game. Even though the math is simple it still captures the imagination of my 7 and 9yo.

Les enfants peuvent jouer des heures avec les Tokidos surtout depuis que nous sommes abonnés et recevons des nouvelles cartes pendant l’année!

Nous adorons l'alchimie des maths et notre fille de 4 ans tout particulièrement. Elle est devenue très habile en mathématique, j'ai presque peur qu'elle s'ennuie à l'école!

Le fait de trouver les ingrédients en nombre et d’intéragir avec les cubes mon fils adorent!

Ma filles Adorent être une alchimiste qui aide les clients de sa boutique :) elle a adoré l'interaction des cubes et les mouvements qui donne l'impression qu'elle fait réellement une potion magique !

I wasn't sure about this, since it seemed a little too elementary for my 4 YO who has a special interest in math. He loved the Peter Rabbit game at first, but now asks for it to include multiplication and seems a bit bored with it. I got "math alchemist" anyway on the recommendation of Tokidos and am SO GLAD I did. This isn't just a math game; it's a really soothing dungeons and dragons game for littles. Mine doesn't like music, but this music is soft and comforting and the voice is so lovely. The names of the ingredients are really special and he often repeats them, smiling. The only negative is that he gets to 15 quickly, and then it seems that 10+5 is the equation that's repeated -- for a game like this, I think it would be better if they scaled down again since more variety would keep him interested, and it's not the math per se that is his favorite thing about the card. He's been playing with it more as a make-pretend game that is appropriate for an older set, so even if your child has mastered basic counting, it's still a fun game to play, especially at bedtime, as a way to wind down but give in to playing one more game before going to bed. The soothing voice and music are also a bonus for bedtime.

This one is sooooo cute! It is my daughter’s absolute favorite! I thought it might be hard for her but not at all!! She loves shaking the ingredients into the. I am impressed each time with her ability to add!

I asked for a replacement for this and they said yes but follow through was not it

Ce jeu est 4-5 ans et + . Mon enfant a 3 ans donc pas assez développé pour bien comprendre. Par contre, en tant qu'adulte je trouve que c'est super bien conçu! On met et on jumele les ingrédients et hop dans le chaudron. Un beau jeu pour apprendre à s'amusant.

The “graphics” on the cubes for this game are adorable and interactive. The story/ game play is fantastic, this is our favourite game so far. Fun learning for our 4 year old. Highly recommend!

A little advanced for my kids currently due to my older ones interests (4yo) but is super fun.

On à reçus ce jeu avec le pack et ce n'est pas du tous pour un 3 ans 1/2 par contre pour plus tard c'est vraiment un beau jeu

So far, out of all the games I bought, this is the best one. Most creative, tells a story and uses the full extent of the cube’s abilities. Highly recommend.

My little guy adores this game the most. He calls it his "making potions" game. It's amazing to help learn numbers and introductory math concepts. Great work with this one!

This is THE game my kids love to play! They pull this one out first pretty much every single time! My four kids each take a cube, they work together to make the proper combination, and take turns pouring it into the cauldron. I love how animated and hands on this game is! It's very interactive!

My 5 year old son loves this game! I love that it’s teaching math, but in a really fun way. And that there is a story to go with it. He loves making the potions!

I'm overall pleased with tokidos like 8.5/10. I will purchase other games
here's are my honest feedback :

setting up the games
super clear and easy, took me 10 min to do it
packaging was super nice
the instruction manual looked cheap, like someone just print it on bureau en gros, maybe put it black and white + multiple language with a different kind of paper to match what's available in the market

the overall console
its really stimulating for a toddler , the lights are too bright and the sound too loud, so it would help to be able to adjust it especially for a night time routine where we are trying to reduce the stimulation, also I can't imagine what's its doing to neurodiverse kids., so being able to reduce the sound and lights

games
sometime the instruction wasn't clear for a 3 yold, he didn't get that he has to put the 2 block beside each other
games are fun, he liked the songs and the : hey you did go, he felt empowered
also liked the fact that they just say : bad answer or something like that and not boohoo you are a f* loser.
so maybe just make it clearer, also don't like the fact that the age gap is too large : 3-5 y old. make games for each year, they grow so fast, their cognitive abilities are just not the same.

you need to put it other languages, like Spanish, arabic. we are a mixed family, also business wise, it would open a larger market.

also in the same line of diversity, the 100-300 cad price didn't affect my purchasing decision, I could buy this 500 cad if I had 10-15 games, but some family on the lower socio-economic side can't buy a 100 cad gif to their kids and its a shame that they can't so make it 50 cad. and each games like 20 cad, or figure out a way, like. a program so the family on the lower $ side can get it, for example, It can be a : if you purchase 2-3 games, we give 4-6 games/tokidos to a fam in need. Your customers could help you. but for kids, for loved ones, people can literally pay 500cad even1000 cad for this.

overall satisfied and will get more games. wondering if there is a way to make my tokidos less loud for my nephew.

This game is truly remarkable. A math game based on addition, using an 'abacus' style system to quantify - all wrapped in a fantastical world of fairies, dragons, elves and more. The kids play as a young alchemist. They get to make potions, add ingredients to their cauldron and help their fantastical customers all while developing really critical quantitative math skills. It's a really elevated take on the classic 'imaginary tea party' game kids often play on their own. I can't say enough about this one. A truly magical universe, you almost forget you're doing math.
