What are Tokidos PlayCubes?

PlayCubes is the first screen-free educational gaming console for children ages 3 to 8. Five interactive cubes work together with PlayCards. Kids shake the cubes, snap them together, and press physical buttons to play — no screen, no Wi-Fi, no mic, no camera. Each PlayCard unlocks a full game with multiple modes and levels designed to be replayed dozens of times.

Does PlayCubes have a screen?

No. PlayCubes has no screen anywhere in the system. The LEDs on top of the cubes are status indicators, not a screen. There is also no microphone, no camera, and no ads.

What age is PlayCubes designed for?

PlayCubes is designed for children ages 3 to 8, with games filtered by age group: 3-4 (foundational skills), 5-6 (building skills), and 7-8 (advanced skills). The content grows with the child.

Does PlayCubes need Wi-Fi?

No. PlayCubes works completely offline — no Wi-Fi needed to play. A parental app is available for initial device setup only. After setup, children play independently without any app, screen, or internet connection.

How is PlayCubes different from Yoto or Tonies?

Yoto and Tonies are audio players — the child listens passively. PlayCubes is an interactive gaming console — the child shakes, snaps, and presses physical buttons to solve challenges and complete games. It's active, physical play with learning built in, not passive listening.

How many players can use PlayCubes?

PlayCubes supports 1 to 4 players, making it ideal for independent play or family game time. Siblings of different ages can play together.

How long does the PlayCubes battery last?

The included charging Carry Box provides up to 8 hours of playtime and keeps the cubes organized and protected for travel.

Yes. Every PlayCard is available in English and French. The audio adapts to whichever language you choose. PlayCubes is bilingual by design — not as an afterthought.

Satisfaite en général

Le jeu est très bien et drôle. Ça nous a pris un peu de temps comprendre au début. Je ne comprend pas pourquoi sur le carte ça dit 1-4 joueur quand mon enfant ne peux pas jouer seul. Il est obligé de choisir 2 joueur je trouve dommage qu'il n'ai pas l'option de jouer seul

Travaille l'imagination des enfants

Mon fils de 6 ans adore ce jeu et il le trouve très drôle. Pour les adultes, c'est un peu répétitif. J'aime quand même voir mon fils trouver toutes sortes d'explications pour justifier son choix, donc le but social est atteint!

Mon enfant a 3 ans

À voir lorsqu’il sera plus vieux, pour l’instant il choisit toujours l’option ça ne se peut pas. Un peu comme un autre commentaire, c’est de se mettre d’accord sur oui ou non. Exemple: une carotte qui porte des lunettes, si tout le monde répond oui, on a le point. Alors pour les très jeunes qui son en apprentissage, je ne pense pas que c’est une bon jeu.
Si c’est simplement pour rigoler, avec des plus vieux, ça peut aller.
